The mission of Mama Makeover is to give back to one lucky mama in our community so that she can give even more to her own family. This is not your usual nip and tuck makeover; it is a holistic, integrated approach to wellness.  It takes a village to help mamas restore balance, get fit and reinvent themselves so that they can thrive.  Zenana Spa and Wellness Center and mamalates are partnering with many Portland area professionals, to incorporate a variety of modalities in this event.  Our intention is that even those who are not chosen to receive the makeover will follow along with the winner’s progress and thereby be able to make a transformation on their own.

Mamas spend so much time giving to others but they tend to forget to take care of themselves. If you feel good – grounded, strong and healthy – you can more fully participate in your job as a mother. This is an opportunity to get the support you need, the treatments you deserve and the fitness that will help you keep up with your life and kids. We want to fill you back up, from the inside out.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Baby Blues Connection. This local non-profit offers information and support to postpartum families struggling with depression and anxiety. Parenting is not always easy; for some people, it can be even harder. We have tremendous gratitude for the services offered by the Baby Blues Connection.
