The mission of Mama Makeover is to give back to one lucky mama in our community (the Portland-metro area) so that SHE can give even more to her own family. This is not your usual nip and tuck makeover; it is a holistic, integrated approach to wellness and a unique, integrated and FUN event for Portland area mothers and businesses.
It takes a village to help mamas restore balance, get fit, gain perspective and rest AND reinvent themselves so that they can THRIVE. In our exciting third year, many Portland area professionals and businesses are contributing their talents and services to incorporate a variety of modalities in this event. Our desire is to encourage mamas, who spend so much time giving to others, to take care of themselves! As a mother, if you feel good – grounded, strong and healthy – you can more fully participate in your role and job. Who can apply and how?
o New moms who are 3 months – 6 years postpartum.
o Reside in Portland-metro area.
o Moms that have time to write about their experience through blogging and social media and have the ability to commit to 10-20 hours a week of treatments, services and prizes.
o Must have access to a computer & facebook account.
o Motivated to achieve results from the inside out.
o All interested moms, who fit the above criteria, must apply through our on-line application process via www.mama-makeover.com
How do I apply?
There will be an eight-week, on-line essay & application process for participants starting on Monday, January 23rd right here on our website. Five to seven finalists will be chosen based on the application process and after a face-to-face interview with the Mama Makeover selection committee, a winning mama (and one runner-up) will be chosen in late-March to participate in a six-week makeover ‘from the inside out’! *

Week of March 19th: Interview finalists
Week of March 26th: Announce runner-up and winning mama!!
April 2nd (Monday): Makeover begins - May 11th (Friday): Makeover ends.
May 11th: Mother’s Day Reception (evening fun!)
